jithsh1b Posted June 5, 2013 Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 Hello, My wife applied for an OPT extension after she got through this years H-1B lottery. But for some reason her OPT got extended only for 15 days (From May 15 until June 1). Has anyone had this issue before? The Univ is in touch with SEVIS but haven't seen a response yet. What should we be doing in such a case to get this extended until Oct 1? Thanks, Sreejith Link to comment

ashakell Posted June 5, 2013 Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 It might be print mistake call USCIS or you wife need a info pass to USCIS feild office to explain her situation. since opt is 1yr and OPT EXT is 17 month. Link to comment
