221G Vancouver - help/suggestions needed

Hello Everyone,

I have received 221g at vancouver from the lady VO. She says that they need some time to review my visa application. Also , she has collected some documents from me like LCA, I - 129 , paystubs from jan 2012 till date , W2 , passport , i-797 etc

When i checked my status it says administrative processing. Do anyone of you have an idea of how long does it take for the process?

it could be some additional processing and you could hear from them soon. May be 3 weeks

Depends. I got the same from her and contacted Client on the same day and cleared the next day itself. One of the other guy with tooks more than 2 weeks.

Can you give more details on your interview whether you are a full time employee or work on Employer-Client model or Employer-Vendor-Client model? Also, can you tell us what questions you have been asked during interview?

Although it depends on case to case, at the time I went (April 25th, 2013) they took around 3 weeks (which was longer than others who got the query at the same time) to approve. My application was pending on client verification so it is little different as well from your case. Yours might probably take around the same time..
