New I-94

Hi All,

I need to get new I-94 because current one was issued based on my old passport with H1b visa. Now i have new passport and planning to visit Canada and re-enter to USA to get new I-94.

I have found the following link regarding Canadian Visitor Visa, Apply on Paper

1) Are these documents sufficient for visitor visa?

IMM5257E (Application for Temporary Resident Visa [iMM 5257])

IMM5484E (Document Checklist [iMM 5484] )

IMM5257B_1 (Schedule 1 – Application for Temporary Resident Visa [iMM 5257 - Schedule 1])

2) Do we need to send both new passport and old passport with H1B stamped visa? and Original I-797?

3) Is it better to have an agent for applying visitor visa? How is the timeline with out an agent?

4) How do i pay application fee of $150, through online or send the MO with documents?

I really appreciate your suggestions on this and also please let me know if i am missing anything. Thank You.

I have found, we don't need Visitor visa to Jamaica. http://********...-United_States/

Do we get new i-94 on return to USA? Has any one tried that?

VenkatH1bvisa - I am on a similar situation, what did you do back then? Did you go to Jamaica? Did you get a new I94?
