221greturn
Hello, I have got a request from Toronto Consulate to submit passport after 221g yesterday at 5:20PM but my company may have withdrawn LCA yesterday as well (as it was my last day at work, they couldn't wait for that long). I am not sure, If I should submit my passport to the consulate? I am going to ask about LCA to my company but any idea what would happen if I submit my passport on Tuesday while my company has withdrawn the LCA (they have not informed to USCIS yet though)? Given the above fact, what if my company re-filed a new LCA and then I submit my passport? will I be able to enter into united states? would i be needing re-stamping next time if go out of country? any help will be much appreciated? Please help me guiding about it so I could talk to my company accordingly on Monday morning. Link to comment
StuckinOttawaApr17
221greturn, It depends on what your 221g was for? What color was it... white or Blue? As you have got a clearance from consulate anyways, I think consulate is ready to stamp your visa and may not have an idea about your status with company. How long it took for you to get 221g clearance? Are you in Toronto still? Link to comment
