volga
Hi! I am planning to go to Canada for Visa stamping /June 24th. EVC model ....hopefully soon shall move to EC model at the same end client. With this EC model documents in hand I plan to go to Canada for the Visa interview. With the client for over an year. (Developer Software) H1b Stamping-Incomplete Masters-enroll a new MS course:- Here is the hitch:- 1 came to US in fall 2007 on F1 visa. 2 discontinued F1 in 2008 as I was selected in H1b Lottery. 3 Did not leave US since 2007-now. 4 Now, desirous to join an MS course in a work related field. 5 planning to start summer classes at a Local university ASAP. Firstly I am interested in the new course and secondly if VISA officer asks "why no MS..?" I can say “Well I have recently joined in a university to complete MS (along with work)”. Is this the above course advisable ? If so Are there any pitfalls? 2 ) Have there been any previous discontinued MS-H1b cases? Kindly help. Thanks Volga Link to comment

But vo will ask you about the MS bcos you initially entered into US with F1 and ended up with H1 without graduating. You need to have a very good reason for not finishing your master's.If not it will be treated as abuse of F1, since you said something during the interview (F1 )and did something else after entering into US.
