Shruti1983 Posted May 25, 2013 Report Posted May 25, 2013 My Visa expired last year September and my I-94 also had same date. Before the VISA expiry the H1 extension was filed and it was approved until Dec 2013. My previous I-94 is not valid any more. Just thought to check if I have got a new I-94 too? SHould I check with my employer? Regards
omshiv Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 You would need the petition 797A..if you are travelling out of the country.

If you don't see it there then you should talk to your employer or probably USCIS. The I-94 attached to your new I-797 petition is the one your should be keeping with you. At the time of leaving US, you have to submit both of your I-94s(old and new one) at the Airport. This is not legal advice. This is just my opinion.
