VisitorDoctor Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 If someone out there willing to share your knowledge and experience of getting B2(visiting) for Medical professionals like doctors in India, aging between 30 to 40, I would be grateful to them. As I did my little research, while not much info available on internet, getting a B2 is quite difficult esp from India. Any piece of info would help tremendously!! TX.
drnishu Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 please elaborate more on the purpose of obtaining B2. Many of my physician friends had no problem obtaining B2 and then gave USMLE step 2 CS, went back and them came again for USMLE step 3 and residency interviews.
omshiv Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Why are you planning to visit US? appearing for exams or on tourist visa? have you applied for one already and got denied? i dont know what research you have done and on which basis are you saying that it would be difficult to get one. If you show enough ties/documents back home...you should be good. approach an attorney.
