oliap
Hi, Please help me figure out my options. I have been terminated by my H-1B sponsoring employer two weeks ago. I do not know if they have sent in the notice to USCIS or not. They said they would send it in, but their attorney said they have not yet. I do not know if they have sent the notice or not. My H-1B stamp is valid until September, 2013. I have found a new job, they are preparing H-1B petition now. My question is: can I change to new employer and remain in US or do I have to leave the country? Can I work now or do i have to wait for approval of the H-1B petition? Anything else I should know about? Thank you so much. Link to comment
omshiv
If you got the receipt then you may start working..also if you received 797B then you have to leave US and come back. Link to comment
