kratos1 Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 I have to travel to Zurich for work in the first week of June. My visa stamp expired and I have a valid H1B for 2 more years. It seems like getting a Canada visitors visa is taking over 20days and so my plan to goto Canada and get the H1 stamp is now gone. I think I can go to Swiss and go for a H1b interview. I can only see the US embassy in Bern. 1) Is there no US embassy in Zurich? 2) Also the Bern website says - for an appointment I need call a hotline and there is nothing which can be done online. Is that true? or did I miss something? Any one with prior H1b stamping experience in Swiss - please share the process. Thank you.
jonathan0129 Posted June 12, 2013 Report Posted June 12, 2013 1) No embassy in Zurich. Bern is not too far away. I have to go in July 2) You HAVE TO call the hotline to schedule an appointment after filling out the DS 160 online. No experience with the process. Hoping someone has some info. My only experience so far has been with Toronto.
