How many days it takes to get PERM on EB2 GC processing ?

Hi,

My employer is going to file for my GC on EB2 . I have 14 months left on my H1 B.

In this scenario do I need to stay out of USA for some months ? How long does it take to get the PERM ?

When can my H1 be extended ?

PERM usually takes atleast 3-6 months if everything goes smoothly...once its approved you may or may not apply I-140 in PP.

nevertheless 14 months is good time...you would not require to leave the country.
