OPT Extension denied - Chances of H1B Approval

Hello All,

Please clarify my question.

I applied OPT Extension on Oct 2012 and got RFE on January 2013, and submitted RFE in April and unfortunately it got rejected on May 10,2013. Once i see the denial reasons, i am planing to apply change status to H-4

My OPT Expired on December 31st 2012.

I applied H1B on general quota and got receipt number.

What are my chances for H1B approvals?

It depends on reason for your OPT's rejection.

When you got Master's degree why did your employer filed in general quota??

if you have done your masters in For profit organization, then you might not qualify for H1B Masters Quota.
