H1B validity

Dear All,

I have some confusion about H1B status.

1. If someone has used only few months on H1B, and since then on H4 visa. Can she come back on H1B, if she finds the job (and H1B sponsor-er). Or you have file new H1B.

2. Does H1B 6 years, expires even if you have not worked on H1B status for 6 calender years. Suppose if H1B visa was granted in Jan 2007 in this case and would have expired in Jan 2013 and this H1 B visa can not be used anymore ?

She may not enter on H1B without a job and the approval notice for that job. If a full 6 years has not been used, a new petition will reactivate it for the remainder.
