Till october can she work with them as a "volunteer" without getting paid? NO! On H4, a person could only volunteer for a non-profit organization where everybody else in similar positions volunteers. A classic example is volunteering for a church. A person on H4 can NEVER volunteer for a for-profit organization. I believe she should b able to work as long as there's no pay involved. WRONG! Pay or not is irrelevant. A person on H4 can NEVER volunteer for a for-profit company. Link to comment
