Waiting for passport from Canada consulate- LA

Hi,

I have applied for Canada visitor visa in LA consulate on April 10 th and have not yet received my passport. I tried to track it down in USPS with no luck. Did anyone receive the passport or have any idea of how long do I need to wait to get it back. Is there any other way we can track the passport. Thanks in advance.

I heard it will take 5 weeks, My friend got it in 5 weeks. I have posted mine a week back to NY consulate.

It will be 52 days (including weekends) in NY consulate for Canada Visa processing.

It took 19 calendar days to receive the passport after my application packet has reached the LA Canadian embassy. I had applied by mail. It looks like online applications are taking a little longer than mail applications.

Hi, I sent my passport to LA consulate (after applying online), on 5th April. Got passport back today.

Sorry, I applied online on 5th April, sent the passport to LA consulate on 25th April and got it back today.
