satch69 Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 I got laid off on May 31, 2009 Filed H1B papers with new employer on June 9, 2009. Now we are preparing to file PERM, and attorney says this gap is not allowed. Is it really that bad? Also what is the timeline for PERM approval in EB2 cases? Thanks

satch69 Posted May 14, 2013 Author Report Posted May 14, 2013 When attorney said that its not allowed, then it should be. That is not the answer I am looking for. Can anyone experienced in these matters provide some insight?
shandan Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 That is not the answer I am looking for. Can anyone experienced in these matters provide some insight? I think by definition an attorney is a qualified and experienced entity in these matters, and you are saying you do not believe what the attorney told you and would like someone on forum/s like this to just tell you what you want to hear ?
rahul412 Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 That is not the answer I am looking for. Can anyone experienced in these matters provide some insight? You cannot get the answer as you want, because it's written based on your past. If you think that people in this forum are more exp than your attorney, then you are mistaken.
t75 Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 It could be that they answer you want is not correct.
