Renewal of EAD after expiry of EAD

Hi All,

I just realized that my EAD + AP combo card has expired in March 2013 (My EAD is based on pending I-485). But I have a valid H1 and I entered the country In December using my H1 only.

1. Am I on H1 status now?

2. Is there any problem because my EAD is expired? (I believe, I am actually using it at all, because I entered on H1. Is my understanding correct?)

3. Can I apply for the renewal of EAD + AP now, after it is expired?
