transition to new company without H-1B approval

Hi,

I started work with Company A and they recently filed H-1B petition. Couple of weeks have gone by and I am planning on moving to company B and filing new H-1B petition. Do I need to wait for H-1B approval from company A and only then switch. What documents would be needed from company A ( I do have paystub)

I am on H-1B status. I worked for another company on h1b prior to joining company A. When I moved to A, the company filed a new H-1B petition

No need to wait for approval since your current status doesn't change after the approval.

But its always safe to move to new company once the H1 has been approved.
