Expired EAD, Urgent travel, Infopass experience reqd

Hello,

My EAD/AP has expired since my spouse(primary applicant whose EAD expires on a later date forgot to file on time). We both have valid H1B (not stamped on passport though). Now I have an urgent work based travel requirement. If we file for EAD/AP renewal now (and hoping we get the receipt within a week), can we go to Infopass to expedite the process? How long does Infopass take to renew and give us the card. My travel is exactly in a months time.

Any help greatly appreciated.
