Rejoin previous company- New Greencard

Need some advice.

I plan to rejoin my previous company where I have substantial experience ( about 3 years). I am currently working for another company who is my current employer. I have gained 1 year experience here. Due to cost cutting measures they wont sponsor GC immigration.

If I rejoin my previous company and start a new GC process , where the job requirement will need a MS degree and hence fall under EB2.

Will that previous experience of 3 years count as part of my job qualification?

Please clarify.
