Porting from EB3 to EB2. Company splitting into 2 sperate firms.

Hi,

I currently work for a company name Company A. I have been with them for 3 years now. When they filed my greencard i had just 3+ years of experience They have filed it under EB3 Category and have my priority date as Sep 6, 2012. Company A is splitting up into 2 different companies Company A and Company B and the business unit i work under falls under Company B. Currently i have 5+ years of experience. Is it possible for me to port from EB3 to EB2 by using the experience i had obtained with Company A.
