STEM EXTENSION QUESTIONS

I am working in a startup with 4 employees but a lot of funding. I have applied for STEM extension on March 23rd 2013 and my OPT expires on 4th June. I recently figured out that my E-Verify number in I 765 form is incorrect and I am sending in a letter correcting the same. My questions are

a) If I apply for a correction will it delay my process?

b) What happens if I run out of my 12 month OPT and the STEM extension is still under review?

c) Should I be scared if I am applying through a startup. I have confirmed that they are participating in the E-Verify program. Is there anything else I need to be concerned about? If I get a reject after my OPT expires what are my options?

a.Maybe, may not

b.You will have some grace period, but doesn't know how many days. Ask your school DSO

c.Nothing to worry about. If in case rejected you need to leave US ASAP.
