GC processing through a second employer

Hello,

I have 11 months left on my H visa and my current employer has applied for my PERM. I have received a better job with a second employer who is willing to transfer my H visa and start a new PERM application immediately.

I would be grateful if you could please answer the following questions:

1. Can I keep my GC processing through the first employer and join the second employer and start a new GC processing with second employer ?
   
2. In case, I use remaining 11 months with second employer and the GC processing with first employer has an approved PERM, then can I get a 1 year extension with my second employer?
   

Please let me know what I should do in such case, should I join the second employer to stay with my current employer.

My second employer is Canadian based company and they’re willing to relocate me to Canada to reset my H visa. I have US Master’s degree and have more than 5 years of work experience in USA.
