harinat Posted April 23, 2013 Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 Hi, I was in US from May 2008 to Sep 2010 ( Around 2.5 years) and returned to my home country as my H1 extension got denied. Again I applied for New H1 under Cap exemption and stayed there in INDIA for 14 months ( more than a year) and came back to USA on Jan 2012.Will this reset my H1 validity to 6 years from Jan 2012 or will I get only remaining 3.5 years starting from Jan2012.Please Suggest .
