H1B transer to new employer

Hi,

I need suggestion on my case. My case is as follows:

I resigned from EmployerA on 16th April, 2013, on same day they released me from company. So i have paystub upto 16th April, 2013. So from 17th April, 2013 to 13th may, 2013 i will not have my paystub, will it create any issue?. Before resigning i have offer letter from CompanyB and they are filing my H1B transfer in premium processing. I would take around 15-20 days before decision come. So my question is "Is my visa out of status during this period?". I asked my employer they are saying my visa is not out of status as I had offer letter before resigning from CompanyA. Is it true?

You need to get paid from Apr 17th and comp 'B' has to pay you since your last working day with 'A' was Apr 16th.
