Anyone has done H1B stamping according to the new process? - Plz Help

All,

According to the US Consulate New Delhi, now NOT everyone needs to goto the embassy for the H1B extension stamping. If you are eligible based on a certain criteria, then you just need to do the finger printing in Nehru Place and drop the passport and they stamp the visa and send the passport back. My questions are:

1. Has anyone gone through this process yet in Delhi?

2. I'm getting married in August this year, so would my spouse be eligible for this benefit too? (She has never been to US before)
