If traveling with AP, Airside Transite Visa for London?

I am planning to travel to India via London with Advance Parole, Do I need Airside Transit ViSA?

Yes you'll need Transit Visa as they do not recognize AP. nevertheless pls check their site as things might have changed.

I checked the UK Border Agency website, and found following info on the webpage,

1. Under 'More Information', Question: Countries covered by the DATV system --- India is covered under DATV system.

2. Under 'More Information', Question:'Transit without visa' concession - DATV exemptions ------

• you must arrive and depart by air; and
  
• your onward flight must be confirmed, and must depart within 24 hours; and
  
• you have proper documentation for your destination, including a visa if necessary.
  

Additionally, you must hold:

12) a diplomatic or official passport issued by India;

Shouldn't this be sufficient if you fulfill all above Requirements...
