Please help me to calculate how many years left in 6 years eligible stay in USA

Hi,

Please help me to understand how many years / duration left in 6 years of my eligible stay in USA. Is the the stay counted for L1B + H1B in my case or not? and also the gap between the first visit & 2nd visit 10 months, is it calculated in the stay period or not? If calculated now, how can i reclaim the unused time?

1) L1B --> 01/01/2010 to 02/28/2010 --> 2 Months

2) L1B --> 01/08/2011 to 10/02/2011 --> 9 Months

3) L1B --> 10/29/2011 to 09/30/2012 --> 11 Months

4) H1B --> 10/01/2012 to till date --> 6 Months

Please suggest me based on above.

You are left with = [6 - (Stay on H1b status + Stay on L1 status)] years.

Thanks for the response wiweq, so the gap between the stay in US will be counted as part of 6 years as of now or not?

If yes, then when i had to recapture the gap as i have my H1B first extn next year.

If no, I saw in some forms they were saying it will be in par of 6 years.

I am really confused on this case. Please let me know.

Any time outside USA won't be conunted towards your visa- stay.
