Any one in Canada issued with a 221g and only asked to submit a Resume?

Hello,

I had my interview on March 18th and was issued with a 221g. VO took only my resume and said it would take 3-5 weeks to complete processing and will receive an email on further proceeding. I did not get any status updates or emails and this is my 5th week in Toronto.

Is there any one in the boat? How long does it usually take to get a clearance in this kind of situations?

Hi there...same happened to me in Ottawa. The blue colored 221g form says that they will contact me via email and no documents are required at this point. But tell me if they took your I797 form and passport?

They only had my I797 and resume, but returned my passport. What is your interview date?

My interview date was 8th April. They said they will email me when they gonna call me again.

Have you heard anything from them yet?

I got an email yesterday after 29 days to submit my passport. No additional documents are requested. Just ask for the passport.

Congrats Kb.usa99 , I faced a similar situation in toronto and they kept my resume and 797 , I got the clearance on 30th day .
