H1B - Can I change the job while the extension is underway?

Friends,

I have a question on job change during visa extension application period. I understand that I can continue working with the employer through whom the extension is filed.

Consider the below example:

Visa Expires: Jun 1

I-94 Expires: Jun 11

Company files for extension under normal processing: May 20

I get the receipt number on : Jun 2 (Just in case)

Now,

Question 1: Can I change the employer from Jun 2 onwards?

Question 2: Can I change the employer from Jun 12 onwards?

Please note: In both the cases, petition approval hasn't come yet and I just have the receipt number.

A new employer can file for H1B "transfer" any time.
