fishaq Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Hello All, According to the news release by USCIS, the H1B lottery has already been conducted. Is there any way I can find out if I was selected or not? uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=c91dea8c9eadd310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=a2dd6d26d17df110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD
wiweq Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 If the petition is not selected, they will return the H1b by the end of June. I got my packet on June 22, 2008. My H1b was not picked in 2008, advance degree quota. (In 2008, the odds for MS quota was 20k/ 30k) If you have close contact with your attorney, ask them to have an eye on the checks they submitted to USCIS. If your H1b is picked in lottery, those checks will be cashed by USCIS, and they will stamp the WAC number on the back of the checks. Once the checks are cashed, your attorney can see the front and back images of the checks. Best of luck!
