h1b renewal stamping before the current stamp expires

HI everybody,

I am planning to go to mexico for H1b renewal stamping (in may 2013) once my premium H1b get approved.

my current stamp is valid upto june 15th 2013. can i stil attend the stamping before june 15 th for the new approval time ? or do I have to wait tilll my current stamp expires and then only attend the visa interview?
