sri233
Hi, I am trying to apply for Canadian visitor's visa online. I was asked to submit the following: Application Forms: IMM5257 - Done Supporting documents: IMM5645 - Done Itinerary - DO NOT HAVE Proof of Income - Done (Pay stubs) Proof of Means of Financial Support - Bank Statements => Over sized document Passport or travel document - Passport => Over sized document Digital Photo - Done Employment Letter - Done Invitaiton Letter - DO NOT HAVE I am still figuring a way to reduce the file size of my passport and bank statements. Can I submit my application without the Invitation Letter and Itinerary?? I do not have the invitation letter because I am yet to submit the DS160 and was planning to book a flight only after I get the visitor's visa. Please advice! Thanks, Vidya. Link to comment

Guy_H1B
Invitation letter not needed. Did you book the H1B visa appointment? If you've already done, you can submit that. I submitted my H1B visa appointment (no invitation letter and no itinerary) and got my canada TRV last month. Link to comment
nehayg
Hi, I just submitted my online application. To reduce the size if the file, when you save the document as PDF , just choose min size for online publishing. That will reduce all the sizes. For the itinerary I just created a word doc giving the dates (tentative) and address of the hotel. Since I wrote the purpose of travel as Tourism, I didn't need any invitation letter. Hope this helps! Link to comment
