shekhar2010us
Hello, I work in USA on OPT and got married in India in Dec 2012. My wife applied for F-2 visa once in Dec 2012 and then in Jan 2013 and got rejected twice. Reason of denial: They say they do not believe that she is married. Beside having all the relavant documents like marriage certificate, photos, etc, they do not bother to see the documents. Then before trying for the third time, we decided to go for H1/H4 together in Oct 2013. It was a tough call to make, but we have to do this, since we cannot risk it out having third denial. The current scenario is that we are having lottery for H1 this year, and now I started thinking that if I am not lucky enough to get into lottery, what will I do? My options will be: 1) Go for third time F-2 (I got spouse name added in both of our passports and got the marriage certificate attested from Dept of External Affairs) 2) Go for student visa F-1 (I made her apply to several universities in USA including few safe ones and she will get definite calls from them) 3) Go for B1/B2 I am totally confused. Any ideas? Link to comment
Guest Noah Lotte
she was not denied for the reason you gave; she was denied because the VO does not believe she will return... Link to comment
