H1B visa approved in Toronto on April 3. Anyone got email notification yet?

Got visa approved on April 3. No email from the consulate and no update online either. Anxious to go back . Curious to see if anyone got approval on April 3 or earlier in the week heard anything yet?

I got an approval on April 4th. Still waiting.

The status on CEAC website went to "Ready :Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days."

Not sure what to make of it.

You should get an email Today , The embassy and loomis doesnt work over the weekends and it takes atleast 2-3 business days for your passport to reach loomis . Check the US visa info site . if its says picked up , call your loomis pick up location .

Thanks. Yes it changed to ready to pick up today. Going to Brampton tomorrow to pick up.

my interview was on wednesday and status changed to ready for pick up on monday.

The status changed to "Issued: Your visa is in final processing " yesterday but no waybill number yet.

I know its close but it just feels like there are hundred of steps, its really frustrating. I just hope I get it before the weekend, cannot afford to test employer's patience for one more week.

Maxx, My status also changed to " ISSUED" in the CEAC site yesterday. Keeping my fingers crossed. Planning to book my return flight on Saturday, but a whole lot depends on the pickup date.

Btw, I have to vacate my hotel tmrw morning. If you are staying in a hotel... are you ok to share accomodation for a day ? LEt me know either wise :)

Finally got the visa. Got the waybill number yesterday evening at 11 pm.

Picked the passport today. The ordeal is finally over.
