H1 Extension - RFE for difference in job title

Hello

I had applied for H1 extension through premium processing and got a RFE asking why there is different job title mentioned in Employer offer letter and the job title in Client letter. Clarification is sought for actual job title matching LCA.

Is this an indicator of bigger problem? What are the chances for subsequent rejection of extension? Can anyone help here? Any one had a similar experience?

=> This difference shows that your LCA was filed for a different position and actually you are/will be working with different title. Ideally on H1b, everywhere title/ job responsibilities should be same. But in the case of consulting, they advertise for different position, you get different position on offer, get different position at employer end and ended up with different position at client end. That's why I say US consulting model doesn't fit with H1b requirements.
