Generally, as long as you have a valid, unexpired H1B visa stamp in your passport, you may generally reenter the U.S. with that visa stamp and the new I-797 H1B approval notice. You should be sure to carry along sufficient documentation to evidence that you will be working in H1B status for the new employer / company. The new H1B approval notice need not be with the same company that is listed on the visa. Please schedule a consultation with a qualified immigration attorney to discuss the specific facts relating to your case.
