But I came to know that Uscis is waiting till April 5th to see if the limit is reached. If at all the limit is reached does the masters H1B applications will include in the lottery system? catx Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 There are separate quotas and potential lotteries for regular and Masters cap H-1B visa petitions. For example, the regular cap quota could be reached in the first 5 days (this week) and go into a lottery, and at the same time the Masters cap is not reached and does not go into a lottery.
