Switching Company in the 6 th year of H1B

Hello Gurus,

I am with Company A (IT Consulting Company) with approved I-140 (EB2 - Feb 2012 (Priority Date)). Currently working at one of their client location's which is an MNC & now the MNC is offering me a full time position, but are not willing to do GC.

Also my 6th year H1B visa expires in March 2014, so can my current client file for my H1B and get 3 years H1B extension based on Approved - I 140 from company A, as long as Company A does not withdraw or revoke my I-140.

Company has agreed that wont withdraw or revoke my I-140 as I have been working for them for a quite long time so What would happen during the I-485 stage as I no longer would work with Company A

Do I need to switch back to Company A again after I -485 is approved
