Can multiple employers file for an H1-B petition?

I came to the US on an F-1 visa as a student, completed my degree and was offered a job on OPT. The employer was a consulting company based out of Phoenix and sent me to Charlotte to work at the client side. While working i realized that my employer contracted me to Company B and they contracted me to the Client in Charlotte. While working, Company B(*****) offered me a job with a great pay but my employer has already filed for an LCA and has already sent out an applicaiton to USCIS. On the other hand company B is also willing to file for an H1 and has got a certified LCA for me. I just wanted to see if it is ok for both of them to file for H-1B. Is it legal? What are the issues i might come accross?
