sruthima Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Hi, I have applied for change of status from h4 to f1 in January 2013 to uscis, but my I 20 got canceled since I have not deferred my i20 within 30 days of start of my semester since I had no knowledge of deferment. I already consulted my college and they said that they would reactivate my i20. After getting it do I have to withdraw my I -539 form and reapply a new one or can I just post the new i20 to uscis. I am attending college very regularly. please help me with this because getting f1 status is very important for me.

sruthima Posted March 31, 2013 Author Report Posted March 31, 2013 Thank you for your reply, but I need information about what has to be done with form I-539 bcos when I check the status of form I-539 online it is still active ,so can I go ahead with same application form or do I need to reapply new one. I am not sure if the dos has full knowledge about form I-539
