EAD Renewal when my husband's L1 renewal is still not initiated and i have valid L2 Visa

Hi,

I am on my L2 EAD. My husband's L1 will expire on July-25-2013 so as my EAD. But my L2 VISA expires on Dec-17-2013. My husband's company will apply for his L1 extension in June 2013.

Request to help me on the following questions:

1) Can i apply my EAD renewal on my L2 VISA status even if my husband's L1 extension is in-process/not started?

2) Can i work during my EAD renewal process as i have validity of my L2 VISA and I94 till Dec-17-2013?
