pratham2012
Hi there, Last year when my priority date got current, I filed for my I-485 application along with EAD & AP. Based on pending I-485, I received a EAD/AP Combo card for initial validity of 1 year. Two months back I applied to renew my EAD & AP. As per the instructions mentioned in EAD & AP form, I end up sending my AP application to Dallas Center and EAD to Phoenix Center based on residence address. (I reside in State of Illinois and filing EAD/AP. ©(9) category). Recently both my applications got approved and I received a document for AP (which is one year valid) and card for EAD (which is valid for 2 years). I am surprised to see this. Does anyone encountered same thing? What could be the reason I am getting 2 separate documents instead of 1 Combo Card I received earlier? I have to apply for AP once again next year. How USCIS keeps EAD & AP dates in synch as both are approved and process by 2 different service centers in my case? Any guidance/insight is greatly appreciated. Link to comment
kalyan_ac
You should have sent both the I765 and I131 to the Phoenix to receive the combo card. You will have to file for AP renewal again next year. Link to comment
pratham2012
Then why USCIS states that I should be sending my I-131 application to Dallas center? Any idea? Its so confusing. Link to comment
