I got my first H1B approved in 2012 quota with company B and working with company B from October 2012. I am staying in US continuosly since September 2009 without any long duration gaps. Now my question is about the 6years max out time stay in US. -->Does the 6years max out time includes my L1 period of stay which will end in 2015 OR a fresh count starts from my first H1B approved time which will eventually be 6years by 2018? -->Another question, after changing from L1A to H1B I didn't travel outside of US yet. Can I go to Canada and get my stamping done or should I go to India only for stamping? Thanks. Link to comment
