hariyadavalli Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 Hello, My Initial OPT expires this April-15-2013 and I applied for my Stem OPT I-20 and I applied for stem EAD and got RFE for proof of employment during my inital OPT period. I've submitted my proofs but in case my stem EAD gets denied and my H1B is filed by April-1st. Do I need to apply for another I-20 from my college in order to work from april-15 or the stem I-20 will suffice? Any answer will be helpful. Regards, Hari Link to comment

And you have to leave the country since you have no legal status if ext is rejected. Applying for another I20 won't work in your case. Link to comment
