pratyushach
Hi, I am on H1B and my employer did apply for my visa transfer on general process which is expected to take 3-4 months. Its been 4 months and I havent heard anything yet. Now, the problem is, I have some emergency situation and want to go to India. The attorney whom my employer approches said I should be getting my visa anytime from now. However, they are ready to expedite the process for me now. My question is, will I get some query if my visa transfer process is expedited now at this last stage? COuld someone throw your thoughts. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
wiweq
"The attorney whom my employer approaches said I should be getting my visa anytime from now." => You won't get visa, you will get decision on your H1b petition. " My question is, will I get some query if my visa transfer process is expedited now at this last stage?" => No, doing PP in middle of processing is quite common and ok. Link to comment
Attorney_25
Merely switching to premium processing does not necessarily cause an RFE. Percentage rates of RFEs in the premium processing queue are about the same as in the regular processing quee. Link to comment
chintakk
Not an issue if you expedite the H1B process. a friend of mine did the same and received H1B within a week Link to comment
