epn Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 Hi, I worked on OPT in 2011 and my employer deducted Social security taxes and medicare taxes which is exempt for OPT students. My employer said apply separtely to get those taxes back and sent the letter to me on his company letter head. I did not file that in 2012. Now can i send form 843 to IRS for the year 2011? If not please let me know what i can do to get the taxes for 2011. Link to comment
