GLuck Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Hi, We purchased British Airways(BA) ticket through an agent for my wife and kid. She has her EAD. When she tried to get boarding pass, she was denied stating no transit visa. Agent said, we can use this ticket within a year and he rebooked for the next day thru Lufthansa. This happened last year in June. Now we tried calling agent in november and december to confirm if it is still valid and he said to purchase the ticket before march. In february we decided on our trip and called the agent and tried to book, he said BA is not allowing to reissue the ticket and so we called BA and they say we are not suppose to call. What can I do any suggestions?
JoeF Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 Next time, buy the ticket from the airline, and not from an agent...
omshiv Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 what are you talking about? homework should have been done before any travel. you need a transit visa or a Valid US Stamped Visa or a UK Visa if you need to travel via UK.
