Cka48
Hi, It is known that April 1st is when the H1B petitions are being accepted. My question is should we make sure that our documents should be reached to USCIS only on April 1st or later till the cap is filled. OR Can we send the documents before April 1st (Last week of March). If so will they be accepted by USCIS. Thank you. Link to comment
0407
Document has to reach on or after April1. if you send before April 1, it will be rejected and sent back to you. You won't retain the filing date. You would need to resend it. Link to comment
shandan
The documents should be recevied by USCIS on or after April 1st, if they reach on March 31st or earlier, they will simply send them back. There are couriers available who will deliver on your specified date, make sure to use them and NOT have the documents delivered prior to April 1st. Link to comment
wiweq
I wonder how you are concerned about the receiving date of H1b petition. H1 is employer's petition, they pay for it and own it. They pay to HR/ attorney to send the petitions on time. Just have patient and wait for the decision. Link to comment
