Change of Status from H1B to L2 (Spouse L1 Visa expired but has valid 1-94)

I am having L1B Visa and my visa expires in another 5 months.But I have a valid I-94 so I can continue working legally.

My wife is having L2 visa and an employer is planning to file H1B for her this year.

So if she gets her Change of Status to H1B approved, after October her status will be changed to H1B and I shall be continuing in L1B.

Now my question is, at a later point of time, say 6 months to 1 year working in H1B, can she again file a change of status to L2, considering I have an expired L1 visa/work permit but a valid I-94? What are all the major documents she might need at that time?
