F2 Visa: got a pink slip

Hi,

My husband appeared for F2 visa Interview on 12th March 2013 and Initially the VO said that the visa is approved but later he directed him to another VO and she told him that they have to a verification process and issued a pink slip.

Any idea how long will it take for visa approval.
